Delete Your RAY Markets Account
You can permanently delete your RAY Markets account and remove your listings at any time, directly from the app — there's no need to contact support first.
How to delete your account
- On the RAY Markets mobile app: open the Profile tab → Settings → scroll to the bottom → tap "Delete account" → confirm.
- On raymarkets.co: sign in → open your Profile → Settings → scroll to the bottom → click "Delete account" → confirm.
What happens to your data
Deleted immediately and permanently: all of your listings and their photos, the conversations about your listings (including the other person's messages), your profile photo, name, bio, phone numbers and saved location, and your favourites, notifications and block list.
Also deleted: your sign-in account and the email address it holds, and other people's notifications that named you or quoted your messages. What is kept is linked only to an anonymous record with no name, photo, email or phone number: messages you sent in chats about other people's listings (they stay visible to that person, so their conversation isn't broken), reports you filed, and reports others made about you from a chat (kept for moderation). If you sign in again later with the same Google or Apple account, you start a new, empty account.
Retention period
Deleted data is removed immediately, with no recovery window. Messages you sent in other people's chats stay until that conversation is deleted: 30 days after its listing is removed, they are permanently erased.

Delete Specific Data (Without Deleting Your Account)
You don't have to delete your whole account to remove a listing. You can permanently delete any individual listing — including its photos — and keep your account and everything else intact.
How to delete a listing
On raymarkets.co: sign in → open Profile → My Ads → find the listing → click "Delete" → confirm. This permanently removes the listing, not just hides it.
What happens to the listing's data
Deleted immediately and permanently: the listing itself, its photos, and its attribute details (category, price, condition, etc).
Kept: your account, profile, and all your other listings are untouched. If anyone messaged you about that listing, those chat messages remain visible to both of you for a short period (see Retention below) so conversations aren't lost without warning.
Retention period
The listing and its photos are removed immediately — there is no recovery window for those. Chat messages tied to that listing are automatically and permanently erased 30 days after deletion.
